Scott is a mechanical engineer with over 30 years’ experience across numerous industries.

For over a decade Scott has lead Universal Verification with a clear mission: make the leisure industry safer and help operators prevent accidents before they occur.

He works with theme parks, attractions, inspection bodies, and manufacturers worldwide, providing independent consultancy that strengthens safety systems, improves operational resilience, and protects guests, staff, and assets. His approach is practical, collaborative, and focused on delivering real-world results for clients.
Scott Ingram
Managing Director
Marcus brings over 25 years of senior leadership experience in attraction safety and compliance, including his role as Health and Safety Director at Merlin Entertainments.

A Chartered Safety Practitioner, he has contributed to international standards and industry committees and has worked closely with regulators, operators, and governing bodies. His expertise spans engineering safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance across the global amusement sector.
Marcus Brian
Principal Consultant
Neil specialises in operational efficiency, ride operations, and performance improvement within theme parks and attractions. He has built and led ride departments, managed large teams, and developed procedures, training programmes, and operational systems from the ground up.

He is also the author of the Absolute Efficiency series, based on research from more than 200 parks worldwide. His work focuses on improving capacity, reducing queues, and designing processes that achieve efficiency through planning, systems, and smart design.
Neil Wilson
Senior Consultant
Tony brings decades of hands-on engineering, maintenance, and compliance experience across the attractions and engineering sectors. His career spans senior technical leadership roles in theme parks as well as extensive engineering service in the RAF, giving him a deep understanding of safety-critical systems, operational reliability, and disciplined engineering practices.

Prior to joining Universal Verification, Tony served as Training & Compliance Manager at LEGOLAND Dubai, where he oversaw technical training, competency development, and compliance processes. Before that, he spent nearly two decades as Maintenance Manager at Lightwater Valley Theme Park, leading engineering teams and managing ride maintenance programmes.
Tony Bolsover
Engineering Consultant
Helena brings over 30 years’ industry experience to our Training services. She has an inclusive, person-centred facilitation style, and a pragmatic approach to the development of eLearning.

She is an EMCC and ILM accredited coach with over 300 hours of practical coaching experience. In her coaching role, she empowers individuals and groups to explore their purpose and direct their energies to identify and achieve their goals, enabling them to maximise their impact in their roles.
